Central African Republic (CAR) will take on Ghana in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 3:00 pm CAT (SA, GMT+2).

This Group E encounter is scheduled to be played at the Estádio 11 de Novembro in the capital and largest city in Angola, Angola.

The Wild Beasts suffered a 2-1 defeat to Angola in their opening Group E match which was played on Wednesday with Samuel Nlend having opened the scoring.

With the Barthelemy Boganda Stadium in Bangui, CAR having been deemed unfit by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the landlocked country will host Ghana in Angola.

Meanwhile, Ghana thrashed Madagascar side 3-0 at home in their first Group E match which took place on Wednesday with Mohammed Kudus opening the scoring.

The Black Stars are coming into this encounter as the favourites as they look to make it two wins in a row under their head coach Otto Addo.

The West African giants are hoping to reach the AFCON finals for the 24th time having won the tournament four times.

Gabonese match referee Pierre Atcho (Gabon) will officiate the encounter between CAR and Ghana.
