With Kalidou Koulibaly’s future yet to be decided, it’s reported that Chelsea could meet Napoli’s evaluation and offer the defender a bumper contract.

The 30-year-old has long been considered as one of Europe’s most sought after defenders, given his impressive displays for Napoli throughout his career.

Koulibaly has also been linked with numerous clubs in recent years, with teams such as Manchester United and Real Madrid often spoken about.

According to The Sun, Chelsea is currently the latest team to show interest in Koulibaly as they look to fill the gaps left by Antonio Ruddier and Andreas Christensen, who recently left the London-based club.

With one year left on his current deal, it’s reported that Napoli want £34 million for Koulibaly and that negotiations over a new deal have broken down.

It’s said that the Senegal captain earns £100,000-a-week with the club and that Chelsea are ready to offer the star centre-back a £1650,000-a-week deal.

Along with Koulibaly, the Blue’s have been linked with Jules Kounde and Josko Gvardiol. Elsewhere, the Napoli man is reportedly on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain as the French giants continue to assemble their star-studded outfit.
