‘Mane will regret Liverpool exit’

With it being reported that Sadio Mane could be edging towards an exit from Liverpool, a former Premier League star outlined why the Senegalese star will regret leaving the Reds.

Mane currently has one year left on his deal at Anfield and has been linked with a move away from the club in the last couple of months.

It has been reported that Bayern Munich is the club most keen on his services and that Mane is looking forward to plying his trade in a new league.

Former Aston Villa star Gabriel Agbonlahor recently mentioned that Mane could regret leaving Liverpool, given the success he had in the six years with the reigning FA Cup & Carabao Cup champions.

“When a player wants out so much, it’s hard to stop them, it’s hard to keep them around” Agbonlahor told Football Insider, as per GOAL.com.

“Maybe it’s best for both parties. Mane wants to try a different league, he wants the money he feels he deserves and Liverpool don’t want to pay it.

“There shouldn’t be any hard feelings but the way he has pushed it through, he’ll probably regret it because he had a great time there.

“I would keep Mane, to be honest; what he offers the club, what he offers the team, I would keep him. “
