With Erling Haaland revealed as Manchester City’s latest star, it is reported that Borussia Dortmund could replace the 21-year-old with an Ivorian striker.

Haaland, who became a household name in European football during his time with Red Bull Salzburg and BVB, will now ply his trade in the Premier League under Pep Guardiola.

In the tough task of replacing the goal getter, BVB have reportedly turned their attention to Dortmund forward, Sebastien Haller.

According to 90.min, the Ivorian is set to undergo a medical ahead of a £30million move to the German club. The Ajax Amsterdam player found his goal scoring touch with the Dutch Eredivisie champions, following his move to the club in 2021.

In the 2021/22 campaign, Haller managed to net 34 goals in 42 appearances, while recording nine assists along the way. The African star also walked away with the Eredivisie top goal scorers award after netting 31 times in 27 games.

Haller had a stellar UEFA Champions League campaign as well, scoring 11 goals in just eight games, as he continued his upward trajectory in European football.
