Mamelodi Sundowns are known for their activity in transfer windows, whether it be comings or goings. According to a recent report, three goalkeepers and a star midfielder could well head toward the Chloorkop exit doors.

As big spenders in South African football, Sundowns are constantly looking to add to their squad in all departments. The Brazilians recently added Sipho Mbule to their midfield roster, with the former SuperSport United star known to be one of the best up and coming talents in the PSL.

It has also been reported that Sundowns are looking to sign Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Ronwen Williams in the current window and that the deal is on the brink of completion.

While Williams could join the goalkeeping fold, the Citizen states that Reyaad Pietersen, Ricardo Goss and Kennedy Mweene could leave the club.

The same report mentioned that Sibusiso Vilakazi could be on his way out of the club. Vila joined the club in 2016 and quickly established himself as being one of the club’s most important midfielders.

However, injuries robbed the 33-year-old of regular game time in recent seasons with Sundowns recruiting a number of midfielders in his position during this period.

According to Phakaathi, Vilakzi could look to go out with a bang as opposed to being assigned to a bit-part role at Sundowns. With two years left on his deal, it remains to be seen what the immediate future holds for the veteran playmaker.
