Kessie reveals Zlatan’s influence on Barca move

With Barcelona being one of the most talked about clubs in the current transfer window, Franck Kessie revealed the advice given to him by Zlatan Ibrahimovic ahead of his move to the Catalan giants.

Barca’s name frequently made the trending tabs online as their financial situation continued to make the news. While it has been reported that the club is cash strapped, Barcelona have been linked with a number of big money moves in the process.

As for Kessie, the Ivorian joins the LaLiga on a free transfer, after his deal with AC Milan expired. The towering midfielder mentioned that he spoke to Ibrahimovic before making the move and that the former Barcelona striker urged him to make his mark at the club.

“Yes, I spoke with Ibrahimovic,” Kessie said, according to AS.

“He gave me advice and told me that it is a very nice place. He told me to work hard and to do everything.

“I can give my confidence to my teammates. I have to work with them, I’m in a hurry to start. I want to play with my teammates.”
