Chelsea attacker Hakim Ziyech recently issued a statement announcing a change in his career, as he continues to be linked with a move away from the London-based club.
According to reports in the media, Ziyech is said to have been pushed out of Thomas Thucel’s plans for the 2022/23 campaign and has subsequently been linked with clubs such as Leeds United and AC Milan.
The former Ajax Amsterdam star has been starved of game time under the German tactician, after being brought to the club under ex-manager Frank Lampard in 2020.
Now though, the 29-year-old took to his Instagram account where he announced that he would be representing himself in career decisions and will now take ‘full control’ of his future.
“I have reached a point in my life where I feel that the time is right for me to take full control of my professional future,” Ziyech said on his official Instagram account.
“I want negotiations and decisions about my career to be made by me. So moving forward, my team and I, together with our legal representatives, will handle the business side of things.
“Professional interest should be directed to the contact info in my bio. I remain grateful for your continued support.”
