Ex-Kaizer Chiefs defender Teenage Hadebe made history this past weekend, after scoring a late stoppage-time goal for Major League Soccer side Houston Dynamos.

The 26-year-old featured in an eventful 2-2 stalemate between Houston Dynamos and FC Dallas this past weekend and in the process, etched his name in the competition’s history.

With the game heading deep into stoppage time, FC Dallas were holding onto a 2-1 lead at the PNC Stadium as the ex-Glamour Boy then influenced the game in the most dramatic fashion.

As he found himself in the right place at the right time, Hadebe latched on top a rebounded effort inside the area and found the back of the net in the 101st minute.

According to statistics account OptaJack, Hadebe’s effort was the latest non-penalty goal scored in MLS history.

“90’+11 – Teenage Hadebe’s goal at 90’+11 is the latest non-penalty goal in @MSL history. Chaos,” OptaJack tweeted.
