It’s been reported that Kaizer Chiefs could look to rope in a ‘right hand man’ of coach Pitso Mosimane and that the former Al Ahly mentor is ‘committed’ to helping the Soweto giants.
While the South African giants have been busy in the current transfer window, in preparation ahead of the new 22/23 season, the club could well appoint a new addition to the technical team.
With the aid of Mosimane, who is believed to have developed a good working relationship with Chiefs, performance analyst Musi Matlaba is said to be on his way to Naturena.
Matlaba worked with coach Pitso during his time with Mamelodi Sundowns and more recently, Al Ahly. According to the Citizen, the deal is said to be in an advanced stage and that a deal could be reached soon.
“Chiefs and Pitso have developed a good working relationship and he committed himself to helping them out in any way they need,” a source mentioned as per the Citizen.
“That is why it was not a surprise to hear that Chiefs are talking to Matlaba who is Pitso’s right hand man. He will definitely be a good addition to the club’s technical team.”
