New Barcelona recruit Franck Kessie recently mentioned that his teammates have warmly welcomed him to the club and labeled the Catalan club as his ’second family’.
The Ivorian joined Xavi Hernandez’ side earlier this month, after his contract with AC Milan expired. Kessie signed a four-year deal with the club adding a mammoth €500 million release clause in his new contract.
Now though, the 25-year-old has given insights to his first couple of weeks at the club and said that Barcelona are made to win.
“Everything is going great so far,” Kessie said according to Barcelona’s official website.
“My team-mates have welcomed me really nicely, very warmly. It’s like joining a second family.
“Such a brilliant atmosphere will help the new players to adapt quickly and well.
“When you are Barca, you are a team made to win. It’s always been one of the best clubs in the world.
“Although there are a lot new players, they’ll be doing all they can to offer their very best.”
