Pitso reacts to Benni’s Premier League coaching job

With Benni McCarthy being unveiled as Manchester United’s new striker’s coach, former Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane extended warm words to the South African football icon.
In what was news that waves in South Africa this past weekend, the former UEFA Champions League winner was added to the Red Devil’s coaching staff ahead of the 2022/22 football season.
Benni, as he is simply known in South African football circles, comes into the new look United technical team as their strikers coach. According to the club, the former Porto star will specialise in coaching attacking plays and positioning.
That said, Mosimane took to his Twitter account in reacting to the move where he mentioned that McCarthy is ‘breaking boundaries’ for people of South Africa.
“Benni in the 18 area!,” Mosimane tweeted.
“Breaking boundaries for all of us in SA.
“We wish him well because it will open doors for us. Galagasha!”
