As teams continue to strengthen their squad in the current transfer window, a Senegalese prospect is said to be on the radar of two Premier League clubs, namely Leeds United and Manchester United.
It can be said that the Red Devils have been one of the most talked about clubs in the current window, given the struggles they had been facing in trying to acquire their targets.
Erik Ten Hag’s side have been courting Barcelona midfielder Frankie de Jong for much of the window, however, it is believed that the Dutchman is reluctant to join the English giants.
Now though, it has been reported that United could miss out on another potential signing in the form of Watford attacker Ismaila Sarr. According to the Express, United’s technical director Darren Fletcher travelled to the Hawthorns earlier this week, in keeping tabs on the 24-year-old.
However, according to Foot Mercato, a verbal agreement between Leeds and Watford for Sarr is described as ‘imminent’ despite much work to be done on the move.
Following the departure of Raphinha to Barcelona last month, Leeds are said to be looking for a replacement, with the Senegal winger fitting the bill.
