Daine Klate masterminded a victory over former employers Orlando Pirates on Sunday, while Gavin Hunt suffered another setback on his return to SuperSport United.

The action kicked off with Klate picking up his first win at the helm of Chippa United after they beat Orlando Pirates 1-0 at the Orlando Stadium.

Jose Riveiro’s side created the majority of the chances, but they were unable to breach Lloyd Kazapua’s goal and Abdi Banda struck at the other end four minutes from time to hand the Buccaneers their first defeat of the season.

Later in the day, TS Galaxy continued their fine start to the campaign with a 2-0 victory over SuperSport United at the Mbombela Stadium.

The Rockets took the lead through Given Msimango two minutes before half-time and Ebrahim Seedat wrapped up the three points in the 66th minute to keep their unbeaten run going.

Hunt is still searching for his first win since taking over the reins from Andre Arendse in the off-season for his second spell at the club.
