Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is excited at the prospect of seeing Mohamed Salah and new signing Darwin Nunez playing together more often and described their partnership as ‘cool’.
While Salah pleased the hearts of all Liverpool supporters by committing his immediate future to the club, the signature of Nunez came as an added bonus to the good news.
Now though, Klopp spoke glowingly about the pair’s budding on-field relationship and is chuffed at their desire to get into attacking positions and score goals.
“It’s a cool partnership, definitely” Klopp said according to the Liverpool official website.
“It’s two players who are determined to score and be in the decisive areas – I mean behind the line, wherever the line is.
“It’s very helpful. Mo Is in a really good moment and Darwin is settling in. I think Luis just missed the goal, if you want (at Fulham), really good moments, really good situations. He had two chances, one was post I think, or crossbar, and then got blocked in another situation.
“So, a little but of luck and then he would score that would him as well massively.”
