Downs coach on Tau Al Ahly exit rumour

With reports in the media suggesting that Percy Tau could be on his way out of Al Ahly, Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Rulani Mokwena has given his thoughts on the news.
Earlier this week, it was reported by numerous South African publications that Tau and the Egyptian giants have parted ways. With no official announcement made by the club, Mokwena said that he is unaware of the situation.
As a figure close to Tau, Mokwena praised the Bafana Bafana star as being an ‘incredible human’ while mentioning that he will respect the situation at hand.
“I don’t know much about Percy being unsettled,” Mokwena said as per Soccer Laduma.
“[He is] an incredible human being also, top, top kid and a very good football player.
“I can’t speak about him because I don’t think Al Ahly have officially made a statement on Percy and therefore, because he’s not a free agent and because he belongs to a club that we have huge respect for, it becomes very difficult to comment.”
