Leicester open talks for Ivorian winger

It’s been reported that Leicester City have opened talks with Atalanta for the signing of Ivorian star Jeremy Boga, with it said that the African is keen on making a move to the Premier League.

With the Premier League hosting some of the finest African talent today, the 25-year-old is believed to be a target for Brendan Rodgers as a priority signing. According to Leicester Mercury, the club has been linked with a number of wide players in the current transfer window.

The winger joined Atalanta from Sassuolo on a permanent basis in the previous summer and has also been on the books of Chelsea between 2015 & 2018.

Now though, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano recently reported that Leicester and Atalanta are currently negotiating a move for Boga, with the Ivorian star said to be ‘keen’ on joining the English club.

“Leicester have opened talks with Atalanta for Jeremy Boga,” Romano tweeted.

“He’s in the list as potential new winger.

“While Faes deal as new centre back could be completed soon.

“Negotiations ongoing as Boga is keen on the move.”
