Mosimane makes bold Haaland prediction

It’s known that Pitso Mosimane keeps abreast of world football news and is an avid follower of European football. In analysing one of the game’s most exciting talents in Erling Haaland, the former Al Ahly mentor gave his prediction on how many goals the Norwegian will score this season.

Throughout his career, Mosimane made it no secret that he gains inspiration from some of the biggest teams in world football, one of which being Manchester City.

With the UEFA Champions League commencing this week, Mosimane gave his opinion on Haaland, who recently made the switch to the English club. The striker immediately hit the ground running and currently has 12 goals in eight games for City. Haaland also scored a brace in City’s recent 4-0 win over Sevilla on Tuesday evening, as Pep Guardiola’s men began their UCL title bid.

In taking to his Twitter account, Mosimane predicted that Haaland will score a minimum of 33 goals this season, provided he stays injury free.

“When City bought him, I said to my children ( 2 of them support Man City ), that I think he will at least score a minimum of 33 goals per season,” Mosimane tweeted.
