As a player growing in stature, Napoli star Victor Osimhen is said to have been on the radar of some of Europe’s top clubs. Now though, it’s said a move in the January transfer window could be off the cards, given his importance to the Serie A club.
In the last couple of months, it’s been reported that the Nigerian star has been tracked by the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool, as he becomes one of Europe’s hottest properties.
However, the African star suffered a hamstring injury during his side’s 4-1 win over Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League earlier this month. Now sidelined for a lengthy period, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has said that a move in the January window could be off the cards, while he remains an important player to Napoli.
“Victor Osimhen, I think he will never be available in January,” Fabrizio said on the United Stand.
“He’s such an important player and they are doing great in Serie A.
“So I don’t see them selling.”
