Ghana head coach Otto Addo admits Nicaragua won’t be nearly as formidable as Brazil, but believes they will still provide a good challenge for his team.

The friendly against the Pinoleros forms part of the Black Stars’ preparations for the 2022 World Cup, where they will face Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay in Group H.

Addo’s side were beaten 3-0 by the Selecao in France on Friday and the 47-year-old tactician acknowledged afterwards he made some mistakes in that game.

Tuesday’s clash in Spain will afford him the opportunity to rectify those errors as he wants his players to get comfortable in the system he plans to implement.

“It’s another good test match for us, just to find each other the patterns, prime connections and we are happy to be here to play an opponent like Nicaragua,” he told the media.

“We hopefully can try a lot things. I don’t think it will be as tough as the match against Brazil but it’s a different tough opponent because they have proved in previous games that they can harm other teams so it’s going to be interesting.”
