Mosimane adds to his ‘dream team’ abroad

It’s been confirmed that Pitso Mosimane recently added former Maritzburg United assistant coach Maahier Davids to his Al Ahli Saudi Arabia technical team, with the mentor being labelled as the final member of the ‘Dream Team’.

As a coach with vast PSL experience, Davids will now team up with Mosimane in Saudi Arabia as his assistant coach and currently holds a UEFA A coaching licence. Maahier, brother of Fadlu Davids, previously had coaching roles with Orlando Pirates, Ajax Cape Town and Maritzburg United.

The ‘Dream Team’ consists of analysts Musi Matlaba and Kyle Solomons, while Kabelo Rangoaga has been working alongside Mosimane as a strength and conditioning coach. In confirming the news, MTSports took to their Twitter account in making the announcement.

“The final member of the Dream Team has made his way to Jeddah,” MTSports tweeted.

“Coach Maahier Davids will be joining Al Ahli Saudi Arabia as an assistant coach to Pitso Mosimane.

‘We wish him all the best with this new chapter. Bon Voyage Coach Maahier.”
