Gallagher on Zaha’s best ever performance

Conor Gallagher heaped praises on Ivorian star Wilfried Zaha recently after citing the ‘best-ever’ display he has ever seen from a player he shared the pitch with.

On loan at Crystal Palace last season, Gallagher expressed his delight at being teammates with Zaha and mentioned that the 29-year-old has the ability to create something out of nothing.

In speaking about the best-ever display he has seen from a player while being on the same team, Callagher highlighted Zaha’s performance in Palace’ 3-0 win over Spurs in the Premier League last season.

The Chelsea midfielder fondly remembered Zaha’s ability to come up clutch for Palace and that he constantly scored important goals for the club.

“He’s is one of them players that can do something out of nothing,” Gallagher said in an interview with JD Official.

“For Crystal Palace, he does that a lot and we needed that last season with him and he scored very important goals.

“The performance that sticks out for to me was the one against Spurs. We won 3-0 at home.

“I can’t remember if he scored or not but I just remember him just destroying the right back constantly.

“So, that sticks out to my head. That’s why it’s him.”
