Liverpool star makes Mane admission

Following Liverpool’s 3-1 defeat to Brentford in the Premier League earlier this week, midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain suggested that the Reds could well be missing the goal threats of Sadio Mane.

In a move that broke many hearts among the adoring Liverpool fanbase, Mane made the switch to Bayern Munich ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.

Having scored 130 goals in six seasons at the club, Chamberlain spoke highly of the Senegal star’s contribution to the team after their 3-1 loss to Brentford.

“I’ve watched Sadio and Mo play that position for years,” Chamberlain said as per RousingTheKop.

“One thing that they have both done outstandingly well is provide goals for the team.

“It’s a bit different when Darwin is playing through the middle because he’s such a threat in behind. When Bobby plays that role he usually drops a bit deeper and fills that half space.
