According to reports, Borussia Dortmund are using former Ghana national team coach Otto Addo to lure Mohammed Kudus to the club, after impressing at the recent 2022 World Cup.


With Addo overseeing Ghana’s recent World Cup campaign, Kudus was one of the Black Stars best players at the tournament. During the showpiece, it was reported that Kudus caught the eye of top European clubs who were said to be keeping tabs on his progress.


As Addo bid farewell from the national team after their World Cup campaign, the 47-year-old returned to Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund, where he serves as one of the club’s coaches.


Now though, according to GhanaSoccernet, it’s been reported that BVB want Addo to convince Kudus of a move to the Bundesliga.


The same report says that Dortmund’s sporting director, Sebastien Kehl, held talks with Kudus’ agent with the hopes of securing a transfer in the summer.


It’s said that a number of English Premier League clubs are also monitoring Kudus’ status as an in-demand attacker.
