Royal AM secured a 2-0 win over AmaZulu FC in a DStv Premiership encounter at the Chatsworth Stadium on Sunday afternoon.


Goals from Motebang Sera and Mxolisi Macuphu earned Thwihli Thwahla the win which elevated the team to the fifth spot on the league standings and they will now take on Maritzburg United on January 15.


While AmaZulu moved down to the 11th spot on the league table, they will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways when they square off with Kaizer Chiefs on Friday.


Action in the South African top-flight continued in the evening as TS Galaxy and Stellenbosch FC played to a 0-0 draw in a DStv Premiership match at the Mbombela Stadium.


Despite the draw, the Rockets climbed up to the 10th spot on the league standings ahead of their encounter against Swallows FC on January 15.


While Stellies also moved up to the 13th spot on the table and they are scheduled to go head to head with Marumo Gallants on Wednesday.
