Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane has said that it is his responsibility to bring the best out of his players as the club endures an inconsistent spell of results in the DStv Premiership.
Amakhosi are on a run of three consecutive losses in the league and currently occupy 6th spot after 17 games played. Zwane has often reiterated that he is committed to the course of getting the club back to winning ways amid the pressure he is facing at Naturena.
In touching on the subject of players’ inconsistent performances, Zwane mentioned that it comes with the territory and that it is up to him to get his players up to speed again.
Fondly known as, ‘10111’, Zwane also confirmed that Khama Billiat will be sidelined for the foreseeable future.
“I’m not really concerned, it’s the nature of the game where players will blow hot and cold, making mistakes here and there – some mistakes that are costly,” Zwane told iDiskiTimes.
“It’s how I bring them back and get the best out of them as a coach, rather than focussing on the mistakes because football is a game of mistakes..
“Unfortunately we’re not going to see Khama anytime soon.
“He’s still struggling, we’re still waiting for the doctors’ report and we’ll take it from there.”
