AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho has warned Victor Osimhen that would need to change his penchant for simulation during matches.

Especially if the Nigeria international moves to an English club in the future having been linked with Premier League giants Arsenal FC and Manchester United in the past.

Osimhen, who is sitting at the top of the Serie A scoring charts, netted his 14th goal of the term in the competition as he inspired SSC Napoli to a 2-1 win over Roma on Sunday.

“Mancini played basically as a right-back and did a good job of frustrating Kvaratshkhelia, just as Ibanez and Smalling did with Osimhen,” Mourinho told Roma’s official website.

“Because Osimhen is really hard to mark. He’s a top player, but if he goes to England one day he will need to change his attitude a bit – because they will kill him for it over there.

“Here in Italy it’s less of an issue.”

The accomplished coach is very familiar with English football having managed English giants Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Osimhen had his wrist bandaged after Roma’s English defender Chris Smalling had his studs on the hands of the African star.

The Super Eagles hitman and his Napoli teammates will take on Spezia Calcio on Sunday in another league game.
