Jali negotiating new deal at Sundowns

As one of Mamelodi Sundowns most experienced campaigners at the moment, it’s been reported that the club is looking to extend Andile Jali’s deal at Chloorkop.

The former Orlando Pirates star is in the final six months of his current deal with the reigning DStv Premiership champions as he continues to compete among one of the most competitive midfield departments among teams in South Africa.

Mike Makaab, who represents Jali as his agent, recently mentioned that the club needs to be clear on the midfielder’s role while the two parties negotiate a deal

“At the moment we are involved in negotiations with Sundowns and again I’m going to say this, we hope we can conclude these negotiations sooner than later,” Makaab said, according to TimesLive.

“But we can only push this as quickly as we can without it being pushed to a point where it’s not natural.

“I’ve said before that the best deals are those that unfold naturally and I think this one will unfold naturally, whichever way it goes.”
