Egyptian superstar winger Mohamed Salah will score again and break more records with Liverpool FC according to the club’s manager Jurgen Klopp.
The world-class winger has been struggling for form lately having scored only once in the last seven matches across competitions for the English giants.
Klopp has backed Salah who holds the records for most goals in a 38-game Premier League season and most UEFA Champions League goals for an English club: 40 goals for Liverpool.
“It’s like strikers are, all of them, when it’s going well, it’s going well,” Klopp said on the club’s official website.
“In the other moments, when you have to go through these periods, I don’t think it is a massive difference.
“Of course, when you don’t score for a while it is a few things – you might not be on your 100 percent confidence level, but the desire to do it grows every hour,” the German tactician added.
“That’s it and no problem with him scoring or breaking that record. It is a record to be broken. Mo broke a lot and hopefully he can do that with this as well.”
Salah has netted 17 goals and provided seven assist in 30 appearances across competitions thus far this season for Liverpool who are enduring a poor season.
The 30-year-old looks set to make his 200th appearance for the Reds in the Premier League against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
