Elsewhere, Maritzburg United and AmaZulu recorded a 1-1 draw at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Friday evening. After a run of three consecutive stalemates, Usuthu sit in 6th spot while the Team of Choice drop into the relegation play-off spot.

Royal AM moved into 9th place on the DStv Premiership log this weekend, following their 2-1 win over Golden Arrows at the Princes Magogo Stadium on Saturday Afternoon. After two defeats in succession, Arrows now occupy 13th spot with 20 games under their belt.

Elsewhere, SuperSport United inflicted Cape Town City’s second defeat in a row, following their 2-0 win over the Mother City outfit at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium. As a result, Gavin Hunt and company put an end to their two-match winless streak as they remained in second spot on the table.
