'Mngqithi & Jali camps frustrated at Downs’

It’s been reported that the agencies of Andile Jali and Manqoba Mngqithi are frustrated with current contract negotiations at Mamelodi Sundowns.
Regarded as one of South Africa’s finest midfielders in recent years, Jali’s deal with the Chloorkop will come to an end in June. With no agreement reached as yet, the Citizen reports that Jali’s agency has been left frustrated at the pace at which negotiations have taken place.
The same report mentioned that coach Manqoba Mngqithi is currently in a similar position, given that the two are under the same agency.
“You must remember that it is not only Jali that he manages at Sundowns, there is also coach Manqoba (Mngqithi) who is in a similar situation,” a source said, according to the Citizen.
“It is understandable why he would be frustrated because if you look at the records of the two (Jali and Mngqithi), it should not be an issue when they have to renew.
“There are inside politics at play as well which Makaab must not, and cannot, speak about openly but we all see what is happening there.”
