As a wanted man in Europe these days, it’s been reported that Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha could be ‘tempted’ to accept a bumper contract in Saudi Arabia.

Widely regarded as one of the best players to have donned the blue and purple of Palace, Zaha could well be heading toward the exit doors at Selhurst Park.

Zaha has thus been linked with clubs such as Arsenal and Barcelona, with it being reported that the Ivorian had rejected multiple contract offers by Palace in recent months.

The skillful attacker is currently in the last six months of his current deal, which makes him eligible to negotiate a pre-contract with overseas-based teams.

Now though, according to GiveMeSport’s Dean Jones, Zaha would be interested in a move to Saudi Arabia where he could better his current £130k-a-week wage.

“I think he’d have to contemplate the sort of money that will probably be on the table for a move like this,” Jones told GiveMeSport.

“If it’s real, I’m sure he would be tempted by it. It’s likely to be more money than he could earn anywhere else right now.

“With the standard of football he would be playing, he’d be able to play very easily.”
