Mailula attracts Ligue 1 interest

It can be said that Mamelodi Sundowns star Cassius Mailula is currently enjoying a meteoric rise in South African football and has reportedly attracted interest from clubs in France.
In his breakout season with the Chloorkop outfit, Mailula currently has 12 goals to his name in 18 appearances so far, while recording four assists along the way.
Also, the 21-year-old cemented his place in the star-studded Downs team and gained the approval of his coaches. Now though according to his agent, Karabo Mathang, Mailula received offers from ‘a few’ Ligue 1 outfits as he continues to shine in the PSL.
“We have had some interest but nothing we can report on at the moment,” Mathang told KickOff.
“The interest is specifically from France.
“To be honest, we’ve had a few inquiries from France.
“So, the interest is from France, but unfortunately I an not a liberty to share the club’s name”
