Former Liverpool star Micheal Owen has said that Mohamed Salah will go down as one of the greats in the Premier League, as the Egyptian continues to break records with the Reds.
The Merseyside club faced a tricky Wolves outfit in the Premier League on Wednesday night, claiming a 2-0 win at Anfield.
Salah grabbed his 129th League goal during the tie, as Owen recently stated that the African star will surpass Robbie Fowler’s Premier League tally of 163 goals.
“He’s just a top-class player. About to break another record – he’s been part of a generation.” Owen said, as per HITC.
“In the six years he has been there, he has contributed, absolutely. He has probably been the biggest contributor.
“He has been at the forefront of this for many years now. He will go down in the record books, no question.
“He went past me a while ago. Now he’s about to go past Robbie Fowler. Who is next? He is going to go down as one of the greats.”
