United legend praises record breaking Salah

Premier League legend Paul Scholes was full of praise for Mohamed Salah this past weekend, after the Egyptian played a starring role in the Red’s 7-0 drubbing of Manchester United.

In hosting a rising United outfit at Anfield on Sunday night, Liverpool dismantled Erik Ten Hag’s charges by recording their biggest win of the 2022/23 campaign.

With Liverpool leading by a 1-0 scoreline at the break, Jurgen Klopp’s men put six past the Red Devils in the second-half, with Salah being at the forefront of Liverpool’s impressive display.

Speaking after the game, Scholes had high praises for Salah who became Liverpool’s all-time leading goalscorer in the Premier League with 129 strikes to his name.

“I thought Salah was brilliant,” Scholes said after the game, as per HITC.

“Not just his goals, but his all-round play. I thought he shown his strength. Fantastic touch and technique.

“Weight of pass for the goal as well. He was brilliant.”
