Confederation of African Football (CAF) is set to issue accolades to President Paul Kagame and King Mohammed VI of Morocco.
The duo will receive CAF President Dr Motsepe’s Outstanding Achievement Awards next Tuesday according to the African football’s governing body.
Patrice Motsepe, who is one of the richest people in Africa, has been serving as the president of the CAF since 2021
CAF released the following statement on their official website regarding the event which will take place in Rwanda where FIFA president Gianni Infantino will be present.
“The CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe will be conferring the CAF President’s Outstanding Achievement Award 2022 to President Paul Kagame of Rwanda and King Mohammed VI of Morocco in Kigali, Rwanda,” a statement read.
“The event, to be attended by FIFA President Gianni Infantino, CAF Executive Committee, CAF Member Association Presidents and football legends, will be held on Tuesday, 14 March 2023 starting at 18h00 local time (16h00 GMT).”
