Nigerian superstar Victor Osimhen has reportedly attracted interest from current English Premier League log leaders, Arsenal FC.

The top class striker has been in excellent form for Italian Serie A log leaders SSC Napoli in the current season and he has been linked with top European clubs.

European transfer market guru Fabrizio Romano has insisted that Arsenal are unlikely to target Osimhen at the end of this season as they have enough players in his position.

“I don’t have it confirmed, as of now,” Romano wrote on his column for Caughtoffside.

“Arsenal have Gabriel Jesus, Nketiah, Balogun and also, Osimhen’s price tag will be really huge.

“I think Arsenal have different priorities for this summer, including a new midfielder.”

The 24-year-old has also been linked with Premier League clubs Manchester United and Chelsea FC and French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

His contract with Napoli will expire in 2025 having joined the club from French side OSC Lille for a club-record fee of €70 million.
