Former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton has claimed that Arsenal FC star Bukayo Saka is better than fellow left-footed wingers Mohamed Salah and Riyad Mahrez.

Saka is enjoying his best season since making his first team debut in 2018 having netted 12 goals and provided a further ten assists in this season’s Premier League.

The 21-year-old’s performances have been crucial for the Gunners who are placed at the top of the league standings.

“Saka is winning the battle on the right,” Sutton said on Football London.

“Salah has not been the same footballing force for Liverpool this season. Mahrez is incredibly talented for Man City but I would rank Saka ahead of him.

“And I won’t be taking any suggestions of Antony seriously — the United man probably has Saka posters hanging on his bedroom wall.”

Egypt captain Salah has scored 11 goals and provided seven assists in the league this season for Liverpool who are enduring a poor season.

While Algeria captain Mahrez has netted five goals and provided four assists for league title contenders, Manchester City.
