Bent: Salah better than Beckham

Egypt captain Mohamed Salah is a better player than English legend David Beckham according to former Premier League star Darren Bent.

Beckham – a former Manchester United winger – is hailed as one of the greatest and most recognisable midfielders of his generation, as well as one of the best set-piece specialists of all time.

Salah, on the other hand, is considered one of the best players in the world and amongst the greatest African players of all time having achieved legendary status at Liverpool FC.

Bent couldn’t believe it when British television presenter and radio broadcaster Andy Goldstein said Beckham was a better player than Salah

“Saying Beckham is better than Salah is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard,” Darren Bent said via talkSPORT.

“Listen, Beckham can’t lace Salah’s boots.”

Bent played in the Premier League and Championship for nine clubs, and at senior international level for the England national team.
