Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp described Mohamed Salah as an ‘all-time’ great after the African star reached another milestone with the English giants.
In hosting Fulham at Anfield in the Premier League this past weekend, Salah’s 39th minute penalty strike was enough for the Reds to earn three crucial points in their bid for a UEFA Champions League finish.
In turn, Klopp praised Salah’s overall playing ability after the Egyptian scored his 100th goal at Anfield.
“I think as an offensive player, you need to have this desire to score goals, but a lot of people forget how many goals he sets up,” Klopp said after the game, as per Times Live.
“So he’s just always, very, very often involved in the goals.
“A lot of other players don’t appreciate people enough when they are still playing, and for us, it’s clear he’s an all-time great.”
