As one of the most talked about African footballers in Europe at the moment, Ivorian star Amad Diallo has dropped a major hint regarding his immediate future.

Diallo was once again a star performer for Sunderland in the English Championship this week after getting his name on the scoresheet in a 3-0 win over Preston on Monday.

Much to the delight of the Sunderland fans, Diallo’s screaming effort was the talk of social media after the match. Sunderland will now face Luton Town in the Championship playoffs, as the on-loan Manchester United starlet hopes to play in the Premier League next season.

It remains to be seen whether Diallo re-joins United at the end of the season, with talks of a loan extension at Sunderland said to be on the cards.

“Playing against Luton is very hard,” Diallo said after the Luton tie, as per Goal.com.

“I hope we’ll be in the Premier League next season and maybe I’ll come back, I don’t know.”
