Despite Liverpool enduring a below par 2022/23 campaign, Mohamed Salah has been consistent with regards to his goal contributions and is now close to breaking another record which was previously held by Thierry Henry.
The Egyptian recently recorded a hat-trick of assists during Liverpool’s 3-0 Premier League win over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium last week.
In doing so, Salah recorded his 10th assist in the Premier League, while scoring 19 goals along the way. Overall, the African star now has 30 goals and 14 assists in all competitions this season.
Now though, Salah needs one more Premier League goal to become the first player to tally 20 goals and 10 assists in three different campaigns, as reported by Liverpool Echo.
The Liverpool fan favourite managed to do so during his debut season with the Reds and repeated the feat during the 2021/22 campaign. As it stands, the Arsenal legend tallied 20 goals and 10 assists on two occasions during his illustrious spell with the London-based club.
