South African coach Pitso Mosimane has hinted that he could soon leave Al Ahli after winning the Saudi First Division title.
The 58-year-old tactician masterminded a 1-0 win over Al Qadisia on Tuesday night which saw Al Ahli clinch the league championship with a game to spare.
Mosimane, who is a three-time winner of the CAF Champions League title, took to his official Twitter page to react to Royal’s title triumph.
“Delivered on our mandate of promoting the team to Premier League, and tonight of winning the Championship! In any League or competition, country or continent,” Mosimane wrote.
“We catch Big Fish! Nile River before and tonight in the Red Sea. Waiting for the next Project.”
Mosimane’s side has also secured promotion to the Saudi Pro League, but the former Mamelodi Sundowns head coach may not be in charge of the team next season.
He joined Al Ahli in October 2022 on a one-year deal which has the option to extend to June 2024.
