It’s been reported that newly promoted Premier League side Burnley are interested in signing Nigerian goal-getter Gift Orban.

Orban, who joined Belgian side KAA Gent from Norwegian outfit Stabaek in the January transfer window, went on a prolific goal run during the second half of the 2022/23 campaign.

In total, Orban managed to score 21 goals in 20 appearances this season and has the ability to play in various positions across a front three.

In turn, the Nigerian is believed to have attracted interest from top clubs around Europe, while the player himself expressed his desire to play for the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool.

Now though, according to RMC Sport, as per complete sports, Burnley are said to be the latest club linked with a move for the emerging talent.

The same report suggests that Gent are not keen on selling the attacker unless a big offer is tabled during the transfer window.
