Chelsea face ‘big problems’ in Ziyech sale

With Chelsea keen on offloading a number of high profile players ahead of the new season, it’s been reported that the Blues could struggle to get Hakim Ziyech off their books.

The Moroccan star joined the English giants in 2020, during Frank Lampard’s intial stint as Chelsea manager. However, Ziyech has since found the going tough and struggled to cement his place in the Blue’s starting XI.

Now though, Ziyech is believed to be heading toward the exit doors at Stamford Bridge. However, Football Journalist Dean Jones recently revealed that Chelsea could face financial problems during Ziyech’s sale.

“It’s all going to depend on what the market is for him because he isn’t a cheap player,” Jones told GiveMeSport.

“That’s going to be one of Chelsea’s big problems in this transfer window. It’s not about making the decision that they want to get rid of people, it’s actually getting people to take them.”
