Davids reunited with Zinnbauer at Raja

Raja Casablanca head coach Josef Zinnbauer has finally gotten his man after the club confirmed the arrival of Fadlu Davids as part of his backroom staff.
Zinnbauer’s initial attempts to reunite with Davids at the Mohammed V Stadium were blocked by Raja president Mohamed Boudrika due to concerns about the language barrier, with neither of them able to speak French or Arabic.
The South African had previously served as his assistant at Orlando Pirates and Lokomotiv Moscow, and recently parted ways with Maritzburg United following their relegation from the DStv Premiership.
Abdelkrim Jinani was subsequently appointed as the German’s local assistant, but Davids has now also been roped in as his right-hand man.
“Let’s all welcome our new coach assistant who just joined the team, Davids Fadluraghman,” the Green Eagles announced on Twitter on Sunday night.
Zinnbauer is currently preparing his squad for the Arab Club Champions Cup, where they will face CR Belouizdad, Kuwait SC and Al-Wahda in Group B as the defending champions.
