As an in-demand player by Premier League clubs, it’s been reported that Ajax Amsterdam have rejected a bid for Mohammed Kudus with the Dutch giants looking to retain the Ghanaian’s services.

On the back of a promising 2022/23 campaign, including a bright showing at the 2022 World Cup, Kudus attracted interest from the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Brighton and more recently, West Ham.

The Hammers however, were the first club to make a formal bid for Kudus, which has been rejected according to Football Journalist, David Ornstein.

While the Dutch giants want to hold onto Kudus, It’s believed that Ajax are holding out for a €40 million bid.

“West Ham bid for Mohammed Kudus rejected by Ajax,” Ornstein reported.

“Offer below required fee. #Ajax want to keep 23yo after multiple exits but he plans to go Konstantinos Mavropanos due to travel to London in next 24hrs to complete #WHUFC move from #VfB.”
