Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus has added fuel to the fire of reports suggesting that he is close to joining West Ham United.

The attacking midfielder grabbed a hat-trick as Ajax Amsterdam hammered Bulgarian giants Ludogorets 4-1 in the UEFA Europa League clash in Razgrad on Wednesday.

Kudus has been strongly linked with West Ham and the left-footed player indicated that he might have played his last competitive game for Ajax.

“Yes, I think so. But let’s see what happens in the next few days. The talks are going on. We have to see if an agreement is reached in the next days,” Kudus told RTL 7 via a West Ham Fan Page.

When asked what he could say about West Ham, he said, “Good club” while smiling.

Kudus joined Ajax for €9 million, on a five-year contract from Danish side Nordsjaelland in July 2020 and he has established himself as one of the best players in the Netherlands.

The 23-year-old has helped the Dutch giants clinch two Eredivisie titles and the KNVB Cup.
