Despite Jurgen Klopp claiming that Mohamed Salah will be staying at Liverpool for the 2023/24 campaign, it’s been reported that a Saudi Pro League outfit has submitted a mammoth £150 million bid for the Egyptian star.
Salah’s future has been a major talking point in world football over the course of the last couple of months, with new developments being reported in the last 24 hours.
According to Sky Sports, Saudi Pro League outfit Al Ittihad have now tabled a £150 million bid for Salah, which has been turned down.
The same report mentions that Al Ittihad are willing to pay Salah £1.5m per week and are said to be testing his commitment to Liverpool with the lucrative offer.
With the Premier League’s transfer window closing at 11pm on Friday night, the Saudi Pro League transfer window closes on the 7th of September, with teams in the league able to make signings for almost another week.
