‘Expect big things from Kudus’

West Ham midfielder Edson Alvarez has said that fans can expect big things from Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus.

Kudus, along with Alvarez joined the Hammers from Ajax Amsterdam as marquee signings for the 2023/24 season.

Alvarez joined West Ham as a highly-rated replacement for Declan Rice, while Kudus attracted interest from Manchester United and Arsenal before ultimately deciding his immediate future.

Speaking on Kudus joining West Ham, Alvarez mentioned that the club’s adoring fans can expect ‘big things’ from the African star.

“I’m super happy he’s here. I’m looking forward to training and playing again with him. I cannot wait to link up with him again.

“I know what he can bring to the team and what he can show in England. He’s a very talented player and a very good guy.

“The fans can expect big things [from Kudus].”
