Cameroon and Namibia have finalised the line-up for the next Africa Cup of Nations after they secured their places in the tournament with the completion of Group C on Tuesday night.
The Indomitable Lions secured top spot in the three-team group thanks to a 3-0 triumph over Burundi at the Roumde Adjia Stadium in Garoua.
Cameroon weathered a difficult first 45 minutes in which goalkeeper Andre Onana was forced into several key saves, but a goal inside the opening minute of the second half from Bryan Mbuemo settled their nerves.
Christopher Wooh made it 2-0 soon after with his first goal for the national team, and veteran Vincent Aboubakar put the cherry on top with a scruffy goal in injury time for a final score of 3-0.
The result saw Cameroon finish top of the log with seven points, while Namibia ended second with five points and joined the five-time African champions in qualification. The Brave Warriors will appear at the Nations Cup for just the fourth time.
